Woman Assaulted by Multiple Men Near Church in Epsom
A 20-something woman was sexually assaulted by a group of men near a church in Epsom, Surrey, following her exit from a local nightclub. Authorities confirmed the incident took place between 2:00 and 4:00 BST on Saturday, with the attack occurring outside the Epsom Methodist Church on Ashley Road.
The victim reported being followed shortly after leaving the Labyrinth Epsom venue. Police are currently investigating the event, though they have not yet released complete profiles of the perpetrators. Officers are actively searching for leads to identify and track down the suspects.
“This event is deeply upsetting, and our specialists are providing full support to the victim,” stated Det Insp Aine Matthews. “The inquiry is progressing quickly, and we aim to provide updates as soon as more information is available.”
