Virgin Atlantic Reimagines Heathrow Clubhouse with New Amenities
Virgin Atlantic has reimagined its Clubhouse lounge at London Heathrow, introducing a range of new features including a cinema area, VIP zones, and a spa offering curated wellness treatments.
As part of a phased redesign, Upper Class passengers now enjoy enhanced comforts within the ground-level space, featuring plush amenities and tailored services to elevate their experience.
Royal Box: A Theatrical VIP Experience
The London hub’s new Royal Box area, inspired by the airline’s Los Angeles Clubhouse, offers an exclusive retreat with a focus on privacy and panoramic views of the runway.
Accommodating the ‘best seats in the house’ concept, this invite-only section includes suede-covered sofas in the brand’s signature red and a central ‘Cabinet of Curiosities’ showcasing indulgent sweets and champagne.
Work Pod Studios: Productivity Meets Modern Design
Two dedicated work studios have been added, designed for focused productivity with integrated power outlets, sleek desks, and illuminated ‘on air’ signs to indicate availability.
These spaces also feature studio-inspired decor, including framed vinyl records, paying homage to Virgin Records’ legacy.
Gallery: Redesigned for Panoramic Views
The Gallery, the Clubhouse’s most sought-after space, has been reconfigured to optimize layout and enhance its sweeping runway vistas.
Design elements draw from London’s transport heritage and Vivienne Westwood’s iconic uniforms, blending warm brass accents, livery red hues, and custom lighting.
Wellness Innovations: Pop-Up Experiences
Guests can now access two new pop-up wellness stations, offering temporary access to therapeutic services and immersive relaxation spaces.
From today until May 31, complimentary sessions are available in three Somadomes—immersive wellness domes that combine light therapy, sound healing, and meditation for a quick mental reset.
Spa Integration: Treatments at the Clubhouse
Secret Spa has expanded its services, providing express massages, glow-enhancing facials, and manicures at the Clubhouse until April 30.
Specialists will also be available to apply OSKIA skincare, OPI nail products, and popular Korean beauty brands as part of the new Seoul route launch.
