The Metropolitan Police have identified the individual who lost their life following a stabbing near Primrose Hill as Finbar Sullivan, a 21-year-old. The incident occurred shortly after 18:30 BST on Tuesday, when Sullivan was discovered with severe knife injuries close to a well-known viewing spot in the north London area. Authorities are seeking public assistance, asking for any information, visual records, or videos captured at the scene.
“Finbar’s family faces a profound tragedy, and we extend our support during this difficult phase,” stated Det Insp Andy Griffin, leading the ongoing inquiry. “The investigation is moving swiftly, with multiple leads being explored. Given the high foot traffic in this public park, there could be numerous witnesses aiding our understanding of the events.”
Police have not yet made any arrests, stating they are currently assessing CCTV footage, conducting interviews with witnesses, and collecting forensic data. The force emphasized the need for community input as they work to uncover the circumstances surrounding the attack.
