Fourth suspect arrested over Jewish charity ambulance arson attack
Fourth Suspect in Jewish Charity Ambulance Arson Case Arrested
The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) confirmed the arrest of a fourth individual linked to the recent arson attack on ambulances owned by a Jewish charity in north London. The suspect was detained at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Saturday morning, as reported by police. A man was observed exiting the courthouse escorted by law enforcement.
Three Charged Indicted with Property Damage and Reckless Acts
Three others involved in the incident appeared before the court this morning and were granted custody until further proceedings. These include two British men—Hamza Iqbal, 20, and Rehan Khan, 19—as well as a 17-year-old boy with dual British-Pakistani nationality. All three face charges of arson with intent to destroy property and endangering lives through reckless behavior.
The court received evidence indicating the attack was a deliberate and focused assault on the Jewish community.
Previously, two men aged 45 and 47 were arrested in relation to the case but released on bail pending a decision in late April. The CPS emphasized the attack’s targeted nature, highlighting its significance as an act of prejudice against the Jewish population.
