Man arrested over fatal stabbing at Milton Keynes shopping centre
A 50-year-old man from Towcester has been taken into custody on suspicion of murder following a stabbing at the Centre:MK complex in Milton Keynes. The incident occurred around 5:10pm on Saturday, according to Thames Valley Police.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene but were unable to save the 52-year-old male victim, who passed away despite medical intervention. The police force issued a statement on Sunday confirming the death.
While the suspect remains detained, the coroner has been alerted to the case, though the victim’s identity has not been officially disclosed. The family of the deceased has been notified and is receiving support from specialized officers.
The shopping centre was closed on Sunday as part of the investigation. A temporary scene is expected to stay until further details emerge.
